sirvalkyrie's Ransom, written for Remix Redux 11. The pairings of the original story aren't really central to the plot of this remix, so even though I have marked them here I regret that those who were hoping for rarepair fic might be disappointed. But the existence of France/Austria and Austria/Liechtenstein (the latter more of a young girl's crush) shaped my original conception of this remix, so I have marked them here accordingly.
