Summary: When a local middle school's literature club is devastated by the Media Improvement Committee's decision to block all access to a certain original-fiction-writing website, the staff of the Musashino First Library take it as a prime opportunity to introduce the students to the traditional handicraft of Japanese book-binding -- and the modern history of samizdat publishing.
Notes: This story is set, for the most part, in the November and December that mark the intervening weeks between the end of the Toshokan Sensou novel and the early portions of Toshokan Nairan -- after the battle for the Museum of Information History, around the time when Iku's parents arrive for their visit.
